Back in January this year, there were reports that Android co-creator Andy Rubin is working on a high-end smartphone. And now, he has shared a teaser image of the device on Twitter.
Im really excited about how this is shaping up. Eager to get it in more peoples hands... http://pic.twitter.com/LRzQCFSKTm

The image reveals very thin bezels, rounded screen, as well as icons for cellular connectivity, battery, and clock. Sadly, nothing else - including the handsets specifications - was revealed.
Rumors say the phone will have "the ability to gain new hardware features over time". This modularity will work through a proprietary magnetic connector "that serves double duty for charging th e battery and expanding the phones functionality". The display could be pressure-sensitive like the ones in Apples iPhones.
The device is said to be launching sometime around mid of this year, and will cost identical to what Apple and Google charge for their iPhones and Pixels.
