Week 23 in review OnePlus 5 dominates headlines Samsung and Oppo unveil new phones

The OnePlus 5 was certainly the hottest name in our news section over the past week - the upcoming flagship easily dominated our list of best read articles. And thats despite the fact that we actually got official new hardware.

Samsung unveiled its Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) mid-rangers, while Oppo delivered the R11 and R11 Plus flagships.

Xiaomi added a new color to the Xiaomi Mi 6 palette, while Nokia kept holding local events for its 3,5,6 smartphones that are about to go on sale across the globe.

The company also confirmed the smartphone will come with a wide dynamic range microphone.

A report claims that the OnePlus 5 will be available in India with a starting price of INR 32,999.

On the top side of the back is where the resemblance is most obvious.

These stick cl ose to Samsungs 2016 stylings and offer Nougat on a Super AMOLED screen.
